波特兰中国联谊会12月7日完成17人乙肝、丙肝筛查
12 月 7 日（星期日），波特兰中国联谊会开展了第二次社区乙肝、丙肝筛查活动。本次活动共为 17 位社区居民完成了检测，进一步促进了社区健康意识的提升。
在此次筛查中，有一位居民被查出 丙肝病毒阳性。在后续检测报告的沟通过程中，我们协助该居民及时获得医疗指导，并安排后续随访与治疗，确保其能在第一时间接受专业帮助。
乙肝、丙肝基础知识
- 乙肝（HBV）
有效疫苗可预防；可通过性接触及母婴传播；虽然目前难以完全治愈，但通过规范治疗可以实现长期稳定控制。 - 丙肝（HCV）
目前没有疫苗；较易发展为慢性肝炎；但可通过 口服直接抗病毒药物在 8–12 周内实现治愈。

此次筛查显著提升了居民对肝炎相关健康风险的认识，推动了社区“早发现、早干预”的公共卫生目标。未来，联谊会将继续与医疗合作伙伴协作，为社区提供更多便捷、可靠的健康服务。

CFAP Completes Hepatitis B & C Screening for 17 Community Members on December 7, 2025
On December 7 (Sunday), the CFAP conducted its second community screening event for Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C. A total of 17 community members received testing, helping to further promote health awareness within the community.
During the screening, one participant tested positive for the Hepatitis C virus. As we communicated the test results afterward, we assisted the individual in obtaining timely medical guidance and arranged follow-up care and treatment to ensure they could receive professional support as soon as possible.
Basic Information on Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C
- Hepatitis B (HBV)
A safe and effective vaccine is available; transmission can occur through sexual contact or from mother to child. While complete cure is currently difficult, long-term viral control can be achieved through proper medical management. - Hepatitis C (HCV)
There is currently no vaccine; it is more likely to develop into chronic hepatitis. However, it can be curedwith direct-acting antiviral oral medications, typically within 8–12 weeks.
Ongoing Commitment to Community Health
This screening event significantly increased awareness of hepatitis-related health risks and supported the community’s goals of early detection and early intervention. Moving forward, the Association will continue collaborating with medical partners to provide more accessible and reliable health services for the community.
